Best of the Worst in Political Advertising

Slate Magazine has rounded up the best of the worst personal attack ads used by political campaigns during the '06 election cycle. There has been a big debate as to whether negative ads suppress voter turnout, or activate partisans. In this case, it looks like the GOP mud machine was successful at activating partisans, but it just happened to be Democrats, not Republicans.
